FORTH/ICE-HT participated with an exhibition booth in FORTH/ICE-HT at the 8th Patras Innovation Quest (https://www.patrasiq.gr/), which took place on 25-27 November, 2023, at the Conference and Cultural Centre of the University of Patras. The institute participated with the exhibits “ENSENSIA: Air Quality Monitoring Station by FORTH/ICEHT” and “Sustainable Grid for Electrification and Green Electric Bio-Energy“. The institute’s exhibition booth also hosted the Science and Technology Park of Crete (STEP-C), the Praxis Network and the spin off company of ICEHT, “Hellenic Center for Additive Manufacturing S.A. – HCAM”. The conference event took place on Monday 27 November, 11:00 – 12:30, at the premises of the Conference Centre of the University of Patras and was entitled “40 years of FORTH: A Tradition of Innovation“. During the event, the basic and applied research carried out at the institute’s premises was presented through speeches by researchers and collaborating faculty members of ICEHT, who presented results of their research projects that are applied to a number of products, operational processes, methods or systems with a strong impact on the development of the Region of Western Greece and the Greek economy in general.
The Foundation for Research and Technology- Hellas actively participated in the Innovation Exhibition “Innodays 2023” which was organized by the Region of Crete on the 24-26 of November 2023 and held at the International Exhibition Center of Crete. FORTH had a dynamic presence with speeches, coordination and participation in panel discussions and numerous innovative, cutting edge exhibits.
